Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
This policy explains what Tea App Checker collects, why we collect it, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We collect what you type into the search, a photo if you add one, and what you give us when you pay.
- We use it to run your search, unlock your results and keep your plan working.
- We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising trackers.
- We do not record your screen or your typing.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we turn our product analytics (PostHog) off. Google Analytics does not read that signal (see Cookies below).
- You can ask to see or delete your data at any time.
1. Who we are
Tea App Checker is operated by Tea App Green Flags (TAGF, 1209 Mountain View Pl NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110). We decide how your data is used on this site. You can reach us at hello@teaappchecker.app.
2. What we collect
What you give us
- Search details: the first name, city and age you type in.
- A photo, if you add one, and the face data we make from it. Our Biometric Notice explains this in full.
- Payment details: your email address and the billing details you enter in the pay box. Your card number goes straight to Stripe. We only receive the card type, the last 4 digits and the expiry date.
- Cancel and data requests: the email address, last name and other details you enter so we can find your plan, such as the last 4 digits of your card.
- Messages you send us by email.
What we collect automatically
- Device and connection details: IP address, browser and device type, and a rough location based on your IP address (city or region, not your exact spot).
- How you use the site: pages viewed, buttons and links tapped, the site that sent you here, and any campaign tags in the link.
- Error reports when something breaks.
We do not use session replay. We do not record your screen, your mouse movements or what you type.
3. How we use it
- To run your search and show your results.
- To unlock your results after you pay and to run monitoring while your plan is active.
- To bill you, renew or cancel your plan, and prevent fraud and payment disputes.
- To answer your messages and requests.
- To find and fix errors, and to understand which parts of the page help people.
- To follow the law and protect our rights and the rights of others.
We use face data only for the reasons in the Biometric Notice, never for advertising.
4. Who helps us run the service
We share data only with companies that help us run Tea App Checker. They may use it only to do that work for us.
| Who | What they do | What they get |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Takes card and wallet payments and helps stop fraud. | Card and billing details, email, device details. |
| PostHog | Product analytics: which pages and buttons people use. Session replay is off. | Pages viewed, taps and clicks, device and browser, rough location, a random ID. |
| Sentry | Error reports, so we can fix bugs. | Browser and page details, IP address and, if an error happens during payment, the email you entered. |
| Our website host | Serves these pages and passes your checker requests to our servers. | IP address and the requests your browser sends. |
| Our own servers, run by Tea App Green Flags | Run the search, the face match, payments, cancels and data requests. | Everything you send through the checker. |
| Google Analytics (site usage statistics) and our support email. | Pages viewed, device and browser, rough location, a random ID; the emails you send us. | |
| Cloudflare | Network, website hosting and encrypted storage. | IP address, the requests your browser sends, stored files. |
| ipinfo.io | Turns your IP address into a rough city or region. | IP address. |
| GoHighLevel | Tracks support and data requests. | Name, email and the details of your request. |
| Other infrastructure and email providers | Network and sending email. | Only what each task needs. |
We may also share data if the law requires it, to protect people from harm or fraud, or as part of a sale or merger of our business (in which case this policy keeps applying to your data).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. This site has no advertising pixels. It uses Google Analytics only to count visits, with no advertising features.
5. Cookies and browser storage
Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of data kept in your browser. We use them to make the checker work and to measure how the site is used. We use no advertising cookies.
| Name | Type | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
tagf_unlocked | Cookie (essential) | Set by our server after you pay, so your results stay unlocked on this device. | 24 hours |
tagf_promo | Cookie | Remembers a promo code you entered. | Up to 1 year |
tagf_vid | Local storage | A random ID for this device, so the pay box stays the same if you reload. | Until you clear it |
gf_ft | Local storage | Notes how you first arrived (for example, the site that sent you), for our own counts. | Until you clear it |
tagf_tea_unlocked_posts | Local storage | Remembers which results you already unlocked. | Until you clear it |
Search session keys (names starting with tea, tagf or gf_) | Session storage | Keep your search in progress, your results and your place in the checkout if the page reloads. | Until you close the tab |
ph_…_posthog | Cookie and local storage (analytics) | A random ID so PostHog can count visits. Not set if your browser sends Global Privacy Control. | Up to 1 year |
_ga, _ga_… | Cookie (analytics) | Google Analytics: a random ID so Google can count visits for us. | Up to 2 years |
Stripe cookies (such as __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) | Cookie (essential for payment) | Set by Stripe when the pay box loads, to prevent fraud. | 30 minutes to 1 year |
You can delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings at any time. If you block the essential ones, the checker and payments may not work.
6. Analytics and your choices
We use PostHog to count page views and taps on buttons and links. This helps us see where people get stuck. Session replay is switched off, so PostHog does not record your screen or your typing.
We also use Google Analytics to count visits. We do not turn on its advertising features.
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out. We do not start PostHog in that browser. Our Google Analytics tag does not read the Global Privacy Control signal, so it still counts visits from that browser. To stop Google Analytics as well, use a content blocker or Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
You can also block analytics with your browser’s privacy settings or a content blocker. The checker still works.
7. How long we keep data
- Photos and face data: Photos are kept in encrypted storage; face data is destroyed within 3 years or sooner once it is no longer needed. See the Biometric Notice.
- Payment records (date, amount, last 4 digits of the card): up to 7 years, because tax and fraud laws require it.
- Search records without photos: as long as we need them to handle fraud and payment disputes.
- Support emails: up to 2 years.
- Analytics and error reports: only as long as we need them to understand and fix the site.
8. How we protect data
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Photos are kept in encrypted storage. Only people who need data to run the service can reach it. No system is perfectly secure, but we protect your data with care, and face data with extra care.
9. Your rights
Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong;
- delete your data, including your photos and face data;
- withdraw your consent to face data use;
- stop any marketing email (every marketing email also has an unsubscribe link).
We do not sell data or use it for targeted ads, so there is nothing to opt out of there. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
How to ask
- Use our Delete my data form, or
- email hello@teaappchecker.app with the subject “Privacy request”.
Please use the email address you used with us, so we can find your data. We may ask for one more detail to confirm it’s you. Someone you authorize can also ask for you. We answer within 30 days. If the law gives us longer and we need it, we will tell you why.
If we say no, you can appeal by replying with the word “Appeal”. We will answer your appeal in writing. If you are still unhappy, you can contact your state attorney general.
Washington residents: see our Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
10. Children
Tea App Checker is only for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has used the site, email us and we will remove their data.
11. Where data is processed
Tea App Checker is for people in the United States. We process and store data in the United States.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is important, we will tell people with an active plan by email before it applies.
